For over twenty years, Christa Hunter has sculpted life size children based on her personal experience and childhood memories.

In addition to special commissions, her life size bronze pieces and miniatures have been exhibited in galleries throughout the UK and abroad, and have sold worldwide.

In 1994 she was invited to become a member of the Society of Women Artists and has exhibited regularly at their annual exhibitions at Westminster Hall in London and this year at The Mall Galleries. In 1996 she had an exhibition in London and another is being held in September this year. Her smaller sculptures have been displayed at the Chelsea Flower Show and through the Surrey Sculpture Society she has exhibited at RHS, Wisley, Borde Hill Gardens, Saville Garden and at Vivartis, King Edward School, Witley. With Art Parks International Christa has exhibited at Sausmarez Manor Guernsey, Belvoir Castle, Druidstone Wildlife Park in Kent and Newnham Paddox.

Galleries who have exhibited and sold her work include the Harrods Picture Gallery, Century Gallery Datchet, The Gallery, Virginia Water, Kingsmead Gallery, Great Bookham, Holme Grange Gallery, Wokingham. The latest life size commission was two children on a rock at Eagle House Prep School, Wokingham.

Christa has now designed a "family" of hand painted "collectibles" called "The Potkins" with relief decorated plant pot containers as Potkin "homes".
